Dr. Nagel’s clinical and research focus is on the neurosurgical management of movement disorders, pain, cranial vault reconstruction, spasticity, and hydrocephalus in the adult. He studies how implantable neural devices and variations in surgical techniques can influence outcomes. Dr. Nagel has adopted a multidisciplinary approach in his clinic, ensuring patients receive the optimal evaluation and standard of care. Dr. Nagel has published 11 peer-reviewed research papers, is running 6 active clinical studies, and has given over 15 presentations or invited lectures.
