Accomplishments

Dr. Liao is a neurologist, whose clinical and research interests focus on movement disorders including normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) and parkinsonism. He uses various technologies, such as deep brain stimulation, wearable sensors, augmented reality, motion analysis, and neural signal recordings to assess and treat patients. Dr. Liao is particularly interested in the neural control of gait. He has 19 peer-reviewed publications and 4 book chapters.
